Ezenwa Charles Ekene is currently Branch Head, Owerri Office - overseeing activities in RegCharles Finance and Capital, RegCharles Foundation and RegCharles Management Services in Owerri, Imo State. He is saddled with the responsibility for growing a sustainable, robust and life impacting investment plan, micro-financing and Advisory services in the whole of South East Region of Nigeria with his team of professionals from the No 14 MCC/Uratta Road, Owerri Regional Office.
He joined RegCharles Group June 2014 as the Branch Head RegCharles Group, Owerri. He previously worked in the Pharmaceutical sector as Business Development Manager, South-West and joined the Banking sector as Consumer/Retail Executive at Zenith Bank plc. with marketing experience spanning over nine years. Charles has attended many Marketing trainings and seminars under ‘’The Selling Champion’’ Consultants. He is a Certified Business Administrator (CBA) from the International Institute for Micro Credit Administration. He also completed his programme at National Institute of Marketing Nigeria as a member.
DEBOLA DEJI-KURUNMI (HEAD, FOUNDATION INITIATIVES):
Debola Deji-Kurunmi is a social development consultant who has successfully transited from corporate consulting into the non-profit landscape. She combines passion for social change and advocacy with strong consulting skills in human capital management, organisational development, business strategy and learning development. She began her career as a Research Associate at the Covenant University, Ota where she groomed her skills in research, analysis and academic journal writing. She thereafter joined Human Capacity Development Consultants, building strong capacity in core HR functions including Compensation and Benefits, Organisational Development, Recruitment and Performance Management.
As a Learning Consultant with Phillips Consulting, her ground breaking work in the Learning Academy was successful with proofs – creating a new culture of learning through “imaginative play”, case-based discussions and introspective action. Debola was responsible for developing relevant content for Management and Soft Skills courses run by the Academy, focusing on 21st century real business needs. The curriculum development drive included creation of course content, case studies, simulations, exercises and games that drive class interaction. She is also a highly engaging facilitator known for driving excellent group dynamics through creative facilitation strategies that work well with adult learners. Her learning consulting experience involves developing and analysing competencies for organisations, hosting assessment centres, carrying out skills audits as well as training needs analysis.
As the Head of Foundation Initiatives at RegCharles Foundation, she provides strategic leadership for the execution of initiatives across youth and women programs, capacity development, social impact investing, CSR consulting, non-profit advisory and fund raising.
Debola obtained her first degree in Estate Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, and is a certified Recruitment Professional. She is also a Certified Workplace Personality Profile Analyst, a Certified Job Evaluation Analyst, a World Bank Approved Facilitator, a UN-certified Social Entrepreneur and a Coca Cola scholar of Social Sector Management from Pan Atlantic University.
OLAOYE OYELAKIN EMMANUEL (HEAD, MICRO FUNDING AND CO-OPERATIVE UNIT):
Olaoye Oyelakin Emmanuel is currently the Head, Micro Funding and Co-operative Unit of RegCharles Foundation – a subsidiary of RegCharles Group. He is saddled with the responsibility for evolving a robust, sustainable and life-impacting micro financing and Self –Help Groups activities which will later form the core of the emerging RegCharles Micro Finance Bank.
He previously worked as Group Head, Credit and Marketing, Financial Control & Strategic Planning, Banking Operations, Credit Risk Management & Loan Recovery, Trade and Import Finance in various financial institutions with his finance and banking experience spanning over 9 years covering all aspects of credit, risk management, recovery, collateral management and micro financing.
His last employer before joining RegCharles was CashCow Microfinance Bank Limited where he was a key member of the Management Team that carried out a wholesome Operations turnaround program that positioned the Bank for effective financial reporting, corporate governance and economic advancement of its stakeholders. He is a 2000 Second Class Upper Division Graduate of Banking and Finance from Ogun State University, Ago –Iwoye, MBA in Financial Management from Lagos State University, Ojoo and M.Sc. in Management from University of Lagos, Akoka. He is an Associate Member of Risk Managers Association of Nigeria.
DAVID OLUWASEUN DOSUNMU (HEAD, OFFICE MICRO FUNDING UNIT):
David Oluwaseun Dosunmu is an alumnus of Olabisi Onabanjo University where he bagged a degree in Geography and Regional Planning in 2001.
He started working with Steve Rhodes and Associates in 2003 and was involved day to day planning and administration of musical concerts and event management, he also had brief stint in advertising and film production as well as a couple of stage productions.
He started his banking career in 2008 with Parkway Mfb and has worked in various establishments in various capacities.
He is a seasoned credit analyst and debt recovery specialist.
David joined AB MFB in Feb 2010 had a four year career as Senior Credit Analyst, leaving in 2014 for RegCharles Finance and Capital Ltd. He currently heads the Office Micro funding Unit of RegCharles Foundation.
A member of The Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management, David has a strong desire to impact on his generation and also and a strong advocate of continuous development and growth. He is happily married with children
IFEOMA UGWU (HEAD, CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT UNIT)
Ifeoma had her primary and secondary education in Lagos and her tertiary education in Enugu from the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus; where she made a second class upper degree in Business Management.
She has worked with Emzor Pharmaceuticals Industries limited as a Material supervisor for 2years where she managed both human and material resources. She presently works with RegCharles Finance and Capitals limited, Lagos as a Capacity Development Officer, where she plans, organise and coordinate entrepreneurship trainings to small and medium scale enterprises, public and private organizations.
